COVID-19

We take COVID very seriously. Both KIMS Hospital and Spire Sussex have rigorous precautions in place to ensure a COVID-safe environment: Consultation rooms are cleaned and decontaminated between each patient; numbers of patients in the clinic are limited to allow social distancing. Mr Willmott and the staff in the hospital have received the vaccine and have regular swabs to ensure they are not carrying the virus.

On arriving at the hospital you will need to wear a face mask, have your temperature checked and maintain social distancing throughout your visit. If you have symptoms or have been in contact with someone with symptoms, please follow Government advice and stay at home.

If you require surgery, you will have a COVID swab before coming into the hospital and be asked to self isolate before admission. At the moment, no visitors to hospital patients are allowed.

The situation changes frequently, but in February 2021, urgent surgery is still going ahead at KIMS Hospital for patients who are otherwise fit and well. Surgery at Spire Sussex is currently suspended whilst the hospital has been requisitioned for NHS patients. In both hospitals Mr Willmott is still seeing outpatients for consultations. For the latest update, please contact Mr Willmott's secretary or the hospital directly.
